The present invention relates to a novel method for characterizing a target RNA polynucleotide by taking one or more measurements as it moves with respect to a transmembrane pore. This movement is controlled by the DNA helicase enzyme. The present invention also relates to modified RNA constructs in which RNA polynucleotides are modified to increase DNA helicase binding thereto. |
