abstract | According to the present invention, there is provided a method for preparing an electrolyte solution for an electric double layer capacitor having an optimal concentration required to improve the performance of an electric double layer capacitor, a reference mass of a solvent based on a reference molecular weight of a solute contained in a reference electrolyte of 1 molar concentration determining; determining a mass increase rate of the solvent such that the rate of change of the electrical conductivity is 10% or less based on the electrical conductivity of the reference electrolyte; calculating a target mass of the solvent by adding a mass corresponding to the mass increase rate to the reference mass; and mixing the solvent having the target mass and the solute having the reference molecular weight to generate an electrolyte. |
