abstract | The present invention provides a method for synthesizing prehydrolyzed polysilicate by applying polysilicate as a reactant in synthesizing prehydrolyzed polysilicate, specifying the total amount of water added in the reaction system, and applying polysilicate as a reactant. Unlike the synthesis method using the alkoxysilane-based monomer compound as a reactant, the condensation reaction can be omitted, thereby significantly shortening the synthesis time and reducing the manufacturing cost. In addition, according to the synthesis method of the present invention, the gelation reaction time and weight average molecular weight can be easily controlled, and the prehydrolyzed polysilicate having excellent storage stability and processability can be synthesized. |
