The present invention relates to an antisense oligonucleotide capable of specifically editing a target nucleotide (adenosine) within a target RNA in a eukaryotic cell, wherein the oligonucleotide does not contain within itself an intramolecular hairpin or stem-loop structure In addition, the oligonucleotide contains cytidine (non-complementary nucleotide) or uridine at a position opposite to the target adenosine to be edited in the target RNA region. |
