abstract The present invention relates to a control method for reducing engine vibration of a hybrid vehicle, wherein an HSG for engine starting and power generation is disposed between an engine and an engine clutch to reduce engine vibration such as a torsion damper in a TMED hybrid vehicle having a structure directly connected to the engine An object of the present invention is to provide a method for controlling engine vibration reduction of a hybrid vehicle capable of attenuating and reducing engine vibration during deletion or reduction of a mechanism capable of inducing an engine vibration. In order to achieve the above object, determining the engine torque through power distribution between the engine and the driving motor that satisfy the driver's torque demand; predicting and determining an engine ignition torque from the determined engine torque; predicting and determining an engine ignition timing from the engine speed; determining a target torque of a hybrid starter and generator (HSG) directly connected to the engine; determining an average engine ignition torque using setting information from the determined engine ignition torque prediction value and the determined engine ignition timing prediction value; determining an HSG torque command for generating an engine vibration canceling output using the determined average engine ignition torque and the determined HSG target torque; and controlling the HSG according to the determined HSG torque command. A control method for reducing engine vibration of a hybrid vehicle is disclosed.
