abstract The data receiving circuit may include: a delay circuit configured to generate a delayed first strobe signal and a delayed second strobe signal by delaying the first strobe signal and the second strobe signal; a first receiving circuit for sampling data in synchronization with the delayed first strobe signal; a second receiving circuit for sampling data in synchronization with the delayed second strobe signal; an activation signal generation circuit that generates an activation signal indicating whether the data is transitioned; a transition level generation circuit that generates a transition level signal indicating a transition direction of the data; a phase shift circuit for generating a shifted first strobe signal by shifting the phase of the delayed first strobe signal by 90 degrees; a sampling circuit for sampling the data in synchronization with the shifted first strobe signal; and a delay control logic configured to change a delay value of the delay circuit in response to the transition level signal and a sampling result of the sampling circuit when the activation signal is activated.
