The present invention relates to lithium composite transition metal oxide particles containing 70 mol% or more of nickel (Ni) among all metals except lithium; and a coating portion formed on the surface of the lithium composite transition metal oxide particle, wherein the coating portion includes a compound comprising fluorine and at least one selected from the group consisting of Al, Ti, Mg, Zr, W and Sr and a BET specific surface area of 0.1 to 0.9 m 2 /g, and the lithium by-product remaining on the surface of the positive active material is 0.65 wt% or less based on the total weight of the positive active material. |
