Improved formulations for virosomes |
abstract |
The present invention provides a virosome formulation, in particular a liquid pharmaceutical formulation comprising the virosome. Preferred embodiments include a) virosomes; b) a KH 2 PO 4 /Na 2 HPO 4 buffer having a phosphate concentration in the range of about 15 mM to 30 mM; c) a salt having a salt concentration greater than 60 mM; d) a composition comprising a disaccharide, wherein said composition has a pH in the range of 6.5 to 8. Also described is a method for preserving virosomes to produce a just defined composition. |
