The present invention provides a method comprising the steps of (i) providing a zeolitic material comprising Y0 2 and optionally further comprising X 2 0 3 in the framework structure, in the form of a powder of the zeolitic material and/or in the form of a suspension of the zeolitic material in a liquid, wherein , Y represents a tetravalent element and X represents a trivalent element); (ii) atomizing the powder and/or suspension of the zeolitic material provided in step (i) in a gas stream to obtain an aerosol; and (iii) calcining the aerosol obtained in step (ii) to obtain a calcined powder. The invention also relates to the zeolitic material obtainable and/or obtained according to the process of the invention, and to the use thereof, as molecular sieves, as adsorbents, for ion exchange, as catalysts, and/or as catalyst supports. . |
