abstract | Provided is an adhesive composition that exhibits excellent water resistance and hot water resistance without impairing instantaneous adhesiveness. A 2-cyanoacrylate-based adhesive composition comprising 2-cyanoacrylic acid ester and a specific phthalic anhydride derivative, wherein the content of the phthalic anhydride derivative is 0.01 to 5% by mass based on the total amount of the adhesive composition. The adhesive composition preferably further contains an elastomer. |
