The present invention relates to a method for promoting fruit color, fruit flavor, and root development of a plant using ShCCD4b (Solanum habrochaites carotenoid cleavage dioxygenase 4) isolated from a wild tomato. When overexpressed in , the fruit color is changed and the fruit flavor is increased, which not only improves the aesthetic and nutritional value of the plant, but also extends the length of the root, so it can be usefully used to improve the growth and development of plants. |
