a porous polymer substrate having a plurality of pores; and It is formed on at least one surface of the porous polymer substrate and includes boehmite particles and a binder polymer positioned on some or all of the boehmite particles to connect and fix the particles, wherein the boehmite particles have an average particle diameter. It provides a separator for an electrochemical device that includes; a porous coating layer having a specific surface area of 4.0 to 4.5 m 2 /g and a thickness of 2 to 10 μm on one surface of the porous coating layer. Accordingly, it is possible to provide a separator having the same or similar lami strength and low resistance to the prior art without surface treatment of the porous polymer substrate. In addition, it is possible to provide a separator having excellent adhesion to an electrode and having a significantly lower thermal contraction rate compared to a conventional separator despite being a thin film. |
