titleOfInvention Railway sleepers with reinforced structures
abstract Disclosed is a railroad sleeper having a built-in reinforcing structure. According to the present invention, a railroad sleeper having a built-in reinforcing structure includes: a railway sleeper-shaped foam composite obtained by foam molding a composition containing a thermoplastic resin, a modified polymer, a reinforcing agent, a processing aid, a crosslinking agent and a foaming agent; and a coil-type reinforcing member that is inserted into a mold for foam molding to a length corresponding to the foamed composite and integrated with the foamed composite to supplement the rigidity of the foamed composite. According to the present invention, with respect to a thermoplastic resin, a foamed composite in the shape of a railroad sleeper obtained by foam molding a composition containing a modified polymer, a reinforcing agent, a processing aid, a crosslinking agent, and a foaming agent in predetermined amounts, respectively, is inserted into the mold to be integrated. As the coil-type reinforcing member is provided, not only the hardness and elasticity necessary for supporting the railroad rail is secured, but also the recycling of waste synthetic resin is possible, and the handling of movement, installation, replacement, etc. Contrary to this, it has the effect of increasing the durability without worrying about corrosion or cracking.
