titleOfInvention A process for the catalytic conversion of micro carbon residue content of heavy hydrocarbon feedstocks and a low surface area catalyst composition for use therein
abstract An improved process for hydroconversion of the fine carbon residue content of such feedstocks is provided by the use of a catalyst composition particularly useful in the conversion of the fine carbon residues of heavy hydrocarbon feedstocks. The catalyst composition is a low surface area composition further having a specifically defined pore structure, the combination of which provides its enhanced fine carbon residue conversion properties.
