An object of the present invention is to provide an aqueous dispersion for cosmetics that has both flexibility and hairdressing properties (set retention properties), and which can be easily restored to its original state even if the set is broken once, and a cosmetic obtained using the same. A polyurethane obtained from a polyol component containing at least one of a polyether polyol and a polyester polyol and a polyvalent isocyanate component, wherein the polyether polyol of the polyol component comprises a structural unit derived from polyalkylene glycol having 2 to 4 carbon atoms. Polyether polyol having a number average molecular weight of 400 or more and 4000 or less, or a polyester having a structural unit derived from at least one dicarboxylic acid selected from the group consisting of phthalic acid, isophthalic acid and terephthalic acid Polyurethane characterized in that it is a polyol is used. |
