abstract The present invention is 1.5 to 3.5 weight per 1 weight part collagen material sandwiched between two layers of elastic pretensed collagen material (a collagen material stretched to be in the linear/elastic region of the stress-strain curve) A resorbable, crosslinked, shape-stable membrane comprising a composite layer of inorganic ceramic particles and a collagen material containing negative inorganic ceramic, wherein the collagen material comprises 50-100% (w/w) collagen and 0-50% ( w/w) elastin and having a shape and dimensions suitable for use in human tissue regeneration outside the oral cavity in rhinoplasty, posterolateral spinal fusion or orbital reconstruction.
