abstract |
A process and system for upgrading resid hydrocarbon feeds are disclosed. The process system can be operated in two different operating modes: maximum conversion and maximum quality eluate. The process system can be switched reversibly between the different modes of operation. The system has the ability to reversibly switch between the two modes without interruption of operation or loss of production of the system. |
