abstract | The present invention relates to a separator having excellent electrolyte wettability and electrode binding properties, and not requiring a separate electrode adhesive layer in order to increase binding force with an electrode, and a method for manufacturing the same. In the separator according to the present invention, plasma treatment is performed only on a predetermined portion of the surface, so that adhesion with the electrode is improved by the plasma treatment portion. In addition, since the plasma untreated portion prevents excessive binding of the electrode and the separator, and the untreated portion may be provided as a passage through which the electrolyte is introduced into the electrode assembly, electrolyte wettability is improved. In addition, the separator of the present invention does not need to be provided with a separate adhesive layer for strengthening the binding force with the electrode. Therefore, there is an advantage in that the interfacial resistance between the electrode and the separator is low and a thin electrochemical device can be manufactured. |
