abstract | The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for manufacturing purified titanium tetrachloride, wherein the apparatus for manufacturing titanium tetrachloride according to an embodiment of the present invention is in contact with titanium tetrachloride and an agent for purifying the titanium tetrachloride is a reactor accommodated therein ; a pump for supplying the titanium tetrachloride to the reactor; a storage for storing the titanium tetrachloride purified in the reactor; and a purge gas supplier for supplying a purge gas to the reactor in order to recover the titanium tetrachloride adsorbed to the agent as the titanium tetrachloride is purified. According to the present invention, high-purity titanium tetrachloride is manufactured using an agent, and the titanium tetrachloride lost by the agent can be re-refined and recovered, thereby minimizing the loss of titanium tetrachloride during the production of titanium tetrachloride. |
