To provide a vegetable-based soft capsule film and soft capsule having high film sheet strength and good adhesion, and from which excellent film performance is obtained. The following components (A) and (B): (A) iotacarrageenan (B) Waxicon starch obtained by moist heat treatment in the presence of salt A starch containing the carrageenan containing the component (A) and the component (B) having a mass ratio [(A)/(B)] of 0.4 to 3 of the component (A) and the component (B). A soft capsule film, characterized in that the content ratio [carrageenan/starch] is 0.29 to 1. |
