titleOfInvention | Bio-Inspired Tissue-Adhesive Hydrogel Patch and Uses Thereof |
abstract | The present invention relates to a catechol-modified biocompatible polymer hydrogel patch having excellent biocompatibility and tissue adhesion, and cell transplantation, tissue regeneration, and drug delivery using the same. The catechol-modified biocompatible polymer hydrogel patch has significantly superior mechanical properties and tissue adhesion compared to the solution-based hydrogel formulation, so it can safely and efficiently deliver cells and drugs to the target site for a long period of time in the body. In addition, a multi-layer hydrogel patch can be manufactured by wrapping a mold of a desired shape in single or multiple layers with a catechol-modified biocompatible polymer hydrogel patch, and by attaching stem cells to it, a structure similar to an in vivo tissue can be formed. . |
