Method and system for portable cell detection and analysis using microfluidic technology |
abstract |
The present invention relates to a cell detection and analysis method and system. The present invention includes at least a light source, a fluid chip and a detection module. The cells are flowed through a detection window area accessible to the fluid chip, particularly the light source. Flow cells are identified and/or analyzed. The detection module counts the cells of interest flowing through the detection window area of the chip. The detection module is operative to generate or otherwise capture an image of cells flowing past the detection window. The device of the present invention is portable and can be applied in remote areas. |
