abstract The present invention prepares a para-aramid polymer by adding an aromatic diecide halide to an organic solvent in which an aromatic diamine is dissolved, and an ionic liquid is used as the organic solvent. The present invention improves the solubility of the polymer in the solvent by using an organic solvent that better dissolves the polymer produced during the polymerization process, thereby delaying the precipitation of the polymer during polymerization as much as possible to suppress the growth stop of the polymer and at the same time, non-uniformity. By effectively preventing the precipitation of one polymer, it is possible to prepare a para-aramid polymer having high intrinsic viscosity and narrow intrinsic viscosity deviation.
