abstract | The present invention provides a composition for detecting a biomarker for predicting the osteogenic differentiation capacity of tonsil-derived mesenchymal stem cells, comprising an agent for measuring the expression level of the WNT16 mRNA or protein. WNT16, a biomarker according to the present invention, provides information on the osteogenic differentiation capacity of the stem cells themselves so as to solve the problem of heterogeneity according to undifferentiated stem cells, particularly, combinations of various precursor cells. Through this, it is possible to determine the induction of appropriate stem cells to induce osteodifferentiation, and it can be used to develop a tonsil-derived mesenchymal stem cell-based therapeutic agent using bone-related cells. |
