titleOfInvention | Methods for correcting uncompensated resistances in conductive elements of biosensors, as well as devices and systems |
abstract | Methods are provided for compensating for the effect of uncompensated resistance in a conductive element of a biosensor during electrochemical analyte measurement, such methods theoretically subdivide regions of a conductive element of biosensors into a number of conductive “squares” and , using this information to measure the resistance of one or more paths or patterns of conductive elements and then divide by the theoretical number of uncompensated conductive squares in the path or pattern of conductive elements to obtain one or more uncompensated resistance values. calculating or determining the sheet resistance of the conductive elements of the biosensor in Ω/square at the time. Measurement error may be compensated, corrected, and/or minimized by subtracting uncompensated resistances from the real part of the measured impedance. |
