abstract |
An object of the present invention is to provide a method capable of mass-producing a carbonaceous material for a negative electrode of a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery from a carbon precursor doped with an alkali metal element or an alkali metal compound, and an apparatus for performing such production. In the method for producing a carbonaceous material for a negative electrode of a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery according to the present invention, a carbon precursor containing an alkali metal element and/or an alkali metal compound is supplied and calcined in a temperature range of 1000°C to 1500°C in a non-oxidizing gas atmosphere. Firing process for producing carbonaceous material and discharging carbonaceous material, exhaust gas for treating exhaust gas by contacting non-oxidizing exhaust gas including generated gas and carbonaceous scattering product generated in the firing process with water or aqueous solution gas treatment process. |
