abstract |
The present invention relates to novel peptides having anti-inflammatory activity and uses thereof, and more particularly, the peptides of the present invention are modified aspartic acid-glutamic acid-leucine-leucine-proline-valine (Ac-DELLPV: Acetyl-Aspartyl- A peptide consisting of the amino acid sequence of Glutamyl-Leucyl-Leucyl-Prolyl-Valine; Ac-Asp-Glu-Leu-Leu-Pro-Val), which inhibits the expression of inflammatory mediators and inflammatory cytokines and inhibits the proliferation of inflammatory cells. Since it exhibits excellent anti-inflammatory activity, the peptide of the present invention can be usefully used for the prevention or treatment of inflammatory diseases. |
