Therefore, the Staphylococcus aureus-specific antibiotic resistance diagnostic (SF-AST; S. aureus specific FRET probe based AST) system of the present invention is easy to implement, fast, economical, and read with a microtitration plate reader. It is designed to be suitable for treatment and provides the basis for clinical treatment as it can easily utilize existing technologies.
