titleOfInvention | Novel Probe for Specific Staphylococcus aureus and Uses Thereof |
abstract | The present invention relates to a Staphylococcus aureus-specific nucleic acid probe and a use thereof, wherein the probe of the present invention is cleaved by a nuclease secreted from Staphylococcus aureus so that a quencher and a fluorophore are separated by a distance A significant increase in the fluorescence signal is realized as the fluorescence signal is increased, so that not only the detection and identification of Staphylococcus aureus, but also the antimicrobial sensitivity can be accurately and quickly and easily confirmed. Therefore, the Staphylococcus aureus-specific antibiotic resistance diagnostic (SF-AST; S. aureus specific FRET probe based AST) system of the present invention is easy to implement, fast, economical, and read with a microtitration plate reader. It is designed to be suitable for treatment and provides the basis for clinical treatment as it can easily utilize existing technologies. |
