Provided are an ultrasonic probe for controlling a temperature of a piezoelectric layer using a piezoelectric element, and an ultrasonic imaging apparatus including the same. According to an embodiment of the ultrasonic probe, the piezoelectric layer vibrates when an electric current is supplied to generate ultrasonic waves; and a thermoelectric element in contact with one surface of the piezoelectric layer and controlling the temperature of the piezoelectric layer when current is supplied. |
