| abstract |
Various embodiments related to generating a virtual shadow of an object on an image displayed using a see-through display are provided. In one embodiment, an image of a virtual object may be displayed using a see-through display. The virtual object may appear to be in front of the real world background when viewed through a see-through display. When viewed through the see-through display, the relative brightness of the real world background around the virtual shadow of the virtual object may be increased. Virtual shadows may appear to be caused by spotlights that are fixed relative to the vantage point of the see-through display. |
