Recombinant yeasts of simultaneously producing ethanol and C4-organic acids |
abstract |
Recombinant yeast that selectively increases the production of ethanol or organic acid without inhibiting the growth of yeast by lowering the gene expression level of the acetaldehyde dehydrogenase and glycerol dehydrogenase synthesizing ethanol of the present invention and overexpressing the organic acid synthesis gene. The strain was provided. Since the recombinant yeast strain has limited production of fermentation by-products such as glycerol, it can be practically utilized in industrial processes such as production of bio compounds and bio synthetic resins using glucose. |
