titleOfInvention Biocompatible polymer-Glycyrrhizin Conjugate for Prevention or Treatment of Inflammatory Bowel Diseases
abstract The present invention relates to a biocompatible polymer-glycyrrhizin conjugate for the prevention or treatment of inflammatory bowel disease. By conjugating chitosan and glycyrrhizin, one of the biocompatible polymers, low absorption in the body was improved, and excellent inhibitory effects were confirmed. It was confirmed that both high molecular weight chitosan and low molecular weight chitosan oligosaccharides showed higher cellular uptake rates in the group conjugated with glycyrrhizin, and reduced colon length and alleviated damage to microvilli in mice induced inflammatory bowel disease.
