The method for purifying tritium-containing raw water of the present invention is a method for purifying tritium-containing raw water containing tritium-containing water molecules, in the presence of radiation, isotopes between the tritium-containing water molecules and hydrogen gas molecules. And generating tritium-containing hydrogen molecules by an elemental exchange reaction. If the method for purifying tritium-containing raw water of the present invention is used, tritium can be separated in a gaseous form from tritium-containing raw water with excellent efficiency.
