In the present invention, a resin containing a dichroic dye is dispersed inside a thermoplastic resin through a melt extrusion process, a dichroic dye is oriented through a dry stretching process, and the resin containing the oriented dichroic dye is needle-shaped It provides a polarizing film and a method of manufacturing a polarizing film in which the shape is continuously or discontinuously dispersed in a predetermined direction randomly within a thermoplastic resin. Since the resin composition containing the polarizing function of the present invention is present in other resins in a dispersed form, it is not necessary to attach a separate protective film to the skin layer of the polarizing film, and it is possible to manufacture a polarizing film by melt extrusion. Since the polarizing function is uniformly dispersed inside the resin, it is also advantageous in improving unevenness of the polarizing film.
