abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a polyether polyol having a small content of aldehyde contained in a polyether polyol and a more convenient process, and a method for producing a polyurethane foam having a small amount of aldehyde to be volatilized. In the production method of the polyether polyol (F) of the present invention, a crude polyether polyol composition (D1) containing a polyether polyol (A) obtained by ring-opening polymerization of an alkylene oxide on an active hydrogen compound is added to an acid catalyst (D1) in the presence of water. It has a step (1) of contacting B) to obtain a crude polyether polyol composition (D2) having a pH of more than 5.0, and a step (2) of removing volatile components containing an aldehyde (C) after the step (1). |
