abstract |
Various embodiments include multi-color micro-LED array light sources that enable well superimposed light beams of different colors from each other. A multi-color micro-LED array light source comprises a thermally conductive substrate and multiple arrays of different color micro-LEDs integrated on the thermally conductive substrate. The micro-LEDs in each array are electrically connected and can all be driven simultaneously. The multi-color array light source is also electrically coupled and includes a controller to drive the array of micro-LEDs. The controller drives the micro-LED in a manner that creates an output light distribution with a spatial wavelength and angular distribution suitable for use as a light source. |
