abstract | A surface-enhanced Raman scattering sensor based on a hydrophobic paper substrate and a method of manufacturing the same are presented. The method of fabricating a surface-enhanced Raman scattering sensor based on a hydrophobic paper substrate proposed in the present invention is a step of spin-coating a diluted PDMS solution on a filter paper to generate a hydrophobic paper substrate (h-paper), applying it on a hydrophobic paper substrate. Creating a solution for AuNPs@GO, applying the AuNPs@GO solution on a hydrophobic paper substrate to create a hydrophobic paper-based SERS substrate, and attaching R6G (rhodamine 6G) molecules to the hydrophobic paper-based SERS substrate to prevent Raman scattering.
