abstract The present invention relates to a method for predicting cancer using SOX9 and BRD4, which are markers for diagnosing cancer, specifically, JQ1, a BET inhibitor, inhibits the transcription of SOX9 by BRD4 in cancer cells, thereby reducing the expression of SOX9 and acetylated. Since it was confirmed that SOX9-BRD4 protein-protein interaction was suppressed and SOX9 protein stability was reduced, the SOX9 and BRD4 can be usefully used in cancer diagnosis or screening for cancer treatment.
