abstract |
The present invention is a composition for producing flavanone comprising an expression vector comprising a gene encoding Os4CL enzyme derived from rice and a gene encoding HvCHS2 enzyme derived from barley, comprising a transformant into which the expression vector is introduced. It relates to a composition for producing flavanones, a composition for producing flavanones comprising the Os4CL enzyme and HvCHS2 enzyme, and a method for producing flavanones from methylated phenylpropanoic acid using the composition. If the transformant provided by the present invention is used, flavanone can be produced from various methylated phenylpropanoic acids such as ferulic acid and 4-methylcaffeic acid, and thus, it will be widely used in the industrial production of flavonoids. |
