abstract The present invention relates to a single base polymorphism of the GLUT3 (Glucose transporter 3) gene for predicting the prognosis of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), and more specifically, the GLUT3 gene is at an early stage using the SNP of rs7309332. It relates to a method for diagnosing and predicting the prognosis that affects the survival outcome of non-small cell lung cancer, and its use. The technology for predicting survival prognosis of lung cancer according to the present invention can increase the survival rate of patients with lung cancer by easily evaluating the prognosis of patients with lung cancer and targeting means and treatments for selection and evaluation of treatment.
