The packaging material for a lithium ion battery of the present invention is composed of a laminate in which an adhesive layer, a base treatment layer, an aluminum foil layer, an anti-corrosion treatment layer, an adhesive resin layer, and a sealant layer are sequentially stacked on one side of the base layer. It is composed of an exterior material for lithium ion batteries. The underlying treatment layer contains the following component (A), the following component (B), and the following component (C). The total amount of the component (B) and the component (C) relative to 100 parts by mass of the component (A) is 200 to 12000 parts by mass. (A) A crosslinked resin formed from a resin (A1) having two or more nitrogen-containing functional groups and a resin (A2) having a reactive functional group reacting with the nitrogen-containing functional group. (B) rare earth element oxide. (C) phosphoric acid or phosphate. |
