The present invention relates to a fibronectin-based scaffold domain protein that binds to myostatin. The present invention also relates to the use of the protein in therapeutic applications for the treatment of muscular dystrophy, cachexia, sarcopenia, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, diabetes, obesity, COPD, chronic kidney disease, heart failure, myocardial infarction and fibrosis. The present invention also relates to a cell comprising the protein, a polynucleotide encoding the protein or a fragment thereof, and a vector comprising a polynucleotide encoding the protein. |
