The present invention relates to a recombinant yeast in which organelles have been mutated through genetic manipulation, and a method for producing various isoprenoids using the same. When introducing the isoprenoid metabolic pathway, which is a useful product, to mutated yeast whose number or size of peroxisomes, which are organelles, is increased through genetic recombination, the amount of isoprenoid production is significantly increased compared to yeast without cell organelle mutations. This enables mass production of isoprenoids, which can be usefully used in various industrial fields to which isoprenoids are applied. |
