| abstract | The protection control device 20 of the power conversion circuit 12 includes a computer 22, a communication control unit 30, and a shutdown circuit 40. The computer monitors the fail signal output from the power conversion circuit to the first signal line 18 of the first number, and creates reject information indicating whether each fail signal is valid or rejected. The communication control unit receives reject information from the computer through the communication line 38 of a second number less than the first number, and outputs a reject signal to the second signal line of the first number based on the reject information. The shutdown circuit is configured as the same chip or module as the communication control unit, and permits driving of the power conversion circuit based on the fail signal from the first signal line of the first number and the reject signal from the second signal line of the first number, or Shut down. |
