Since the biomarker is an oncogene or oncoprotein that inhibits the function of p53, effective cancer detection becomes possible by using it. That is, it can be effectively used for diagnosis, treatment, or prognosis of malignant tumors. In addition, as a new model of malignant transformation, it can be usefully used to study the mechanism of cancer incidence in cells and animals, and to screen for drugs or factors that inhibit cancer. |
