abstract | The present invention relates to a catalyst composition for ethylene oligomerization comprising, as a main catalyst, an imino ferrous complex represented by the following formula (I), an aluminum-containing cocatalyst, water, and an organic solvent. According to the present invention, when using the catalyst composition according to the present invention comprising an imino ferrous complex represented by formula (I), an aluminum-containing cocatalyst, water, and an organic solvent as the main catalyst, it does not contain water. Higher oligomerization activity can be obtained than using prior art catalyst composition systems. In addition, when the catalyst composition according to the present invention is used, high selectivity of α-olefins can be obtained. In addition, the catalyst composition according to the present invention enables rapid initiation of the oligomerization reaction, stable operation, and good reproducibility. According to the present invention, a high oligomerization activity can be obtained even at a fairly low Al/Fe ratio or a low reaction temperature. |
