Stable formulations of immunoglobulin single variable domains and uses thereof |
abstract |
The present invention relates to a stable preparation of a polypeptide, for example an immunoglobulin single variable domain, specifically an immunoglobulin single variable domain against von Willebrand factor (vWF). The present invention provides a formulation that is stable when stored in a wide temperature range for a long period of time. The formulation of the present invention ensures high stability of the polypeptide, allowing multiple freeze-thaw cycles without chemical or physical alteration, and provides stability against physical stresses such as vibration, shear or stirring stress. They are stable and compatible with pharmaceutically acceptable diluents in pharmaceutical and diagnostic formulations. |
