The present invention provides a phosphor, a light-emitting element and a lighting device having a better luminous efficiency than the prior art for a Li-employed α-sialon phosphor employing Li + in order to stabilize the structure. For the u-activated Li-employed α-sialon, the lattice constant (a) is 0.7820 to 0.7835 nm, the lattice constant (c) is 0.5645 to 0.5670 nm, the oxygen content is 0.4 to 1.2% by mass, and the europium (eum) content is 0.3 to 1.2. It is set as mass%, and the peak wavelength of the fluorescence spectrum when the peak wavelength is excited by monochromatic light in the range of 450 to 460 nm is set to the range of 580 to 595 nm. |
