abstract The present invention relates to one or more prophylactic or therapeutic compositions selected from the group consisting of arthritis, fibrosis, colitis, and transplant rejection, including Lactobacillus acidophilus as an active ingredient, and various applications thereof. When the composition of the present invention uses Lactobacillus acidophilus alone, it effectively suppresses inflammatory cytokines, has Th17/Treg regulation ability, and suppresses oxidative stress and apoptosis, thereby preventing arthritis, fibrosis, colitis, or transplant rejection. The treatment effect is excellent. In addition, when used in combination with the calcineurin inhibitor FK506 in the Lactobacillus acidopilus, the immune rejection reaction is suppressed in the alloresponse by regulating T cells, and thus transplant rejection and graft versus host disease (GVHD, The treatment for graft-versus-host disease) is effective and can be useful in related industries.
