abstract | Embodiments described herein include a device having an integrated acoustic function including a patterned touch screen cover, an acoustic thin film, multiple electrodes, and a substrate. In some embodiments, the substrate is connected to an acoustic thin film and reduces heat loss from the acoustic thin film through the substrate. The acoustic thin film is connected to the patterned touch screen cover, and generates a vibration current provided by a plurality of electrodes, thus acting as a nano-sized acoustic generator. In some other embodiments, the patterned touch screen cover provides an array of microspeakers and a visual area, and the array of microspeakers is disposed around the perimeter of the patterned touch screen cover. |
